Kendall Wright caught 6 passes -- including his 100th -- for 166 yards and caught his 100th pass of the season in Baylor’s 48-24 win over visiting Texas.

Wright has been Robert Griffin’s top target all season and Saturday in Waco against Texas was no different. The connection started early with a 59-yard TD 22 seconds in. When all was said and done, Wright topped 100 yards for the ninth time this season. He finished the regular season with 101-1,572-13.

Baylor wide receivers Kendall Wright (6-113-2) and Josh Gordon (7-141-2) were Robert Griffin's top two targets again as the Bears continue to explode both on the ground and through the air.

Wright is the surer thing for Baylor, however owners in search of receiver help could sure do a lot worse than Gordon.

Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright was held to five catches for 61 yards against Kansas, but his 50-yard touchdown pass helped rescue his week for fantasy owners.

Though this week was unconventional, Wright posted his third touchdown on the season. And we're still waiting for a huge breakout performance.

Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright caught seven passes for 106 yards and a score against Rice.

This continues Wright's trend for 2010: one bad game followed by a good one. Texas Tech is on tap so who knows if this will continue.

Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright had just two catches for 10 yards in a blowout loss to TCU.

Baylor got behind early and couldn't get much going on offense.  This makes two out of three games that Wright has been held to 10 yards or less.  He will continue to play a big role for the Baylor offense and should bounce back against Rice next week.

Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright caught five passes for 128 yards, including a 61-yard TD, as the Bears took down Buffalo.

Wright posted negative receiving yards a week ago, but Robert Griffin and the Bears looked to get him untracked this week.  Wright fell down or would have had a second TD, but he at least showed he'll still be a viable fantasy option.  That said, you may want to look elsewhere when Wright faces TCU next week.

Baylor QB Robert Griffin says not to worry about top receiver Kendall Wright despite the fact that he caught three passes for -1 yards in the opener.  According to Griffin, “I’m not worried about Kendall — he’ll get his plays."

The Bears didn't need much from Wright in the opener, but as the competition gets tougher, RG3 will look to him more.  There will likely be a conscious effort to involve him in the offense against Buffalo this week, which should lead to a bounce back game.

Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright finished with three catches for -3 yards in a win over Sam Houston State.  He added nine rushing yards on two attempts.

Wright caught Robert Griffin's first pass of the game, but it went for -4 yards.  Fantasy owners clearly expected more of Wright against an FBS opponent, but don't cut him loose yet.  He remains RG3's favorite target and should bounce back.

The Waco Tribune-Herald had a nice breakdown of the depth in Baylor's receiving corps, which is expected to be led by Kendall Wright and Lanear Sampson.  The return of QB Robert Griffin means the group should be more potent than last season.

Wright mentioned his chemistry with Griffin, and I'd expect a strong bounce back season from him.  Sampson's speed (4.34 40-yard dash) and big play ability make him a natural choice as a second option who has some value in Big 12-only leagues.

Baylor sophomore wide receiver Kendall Wright has clearly developed a rapport with quarterback Robert Griffin, and coach Art Briles has high hopes for his star wideout, telling The Waco Tribune that "Kendall will be better just because he's done some things and understands more. He went through an off-season with us and we expect his production to escalate."

Escalating production is definitely a term that should be music to a fantasy owner's ears.  Wright in one of the top targets in the Big XII, and a national factor as well.
