Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon won his second straight Biletnikoff Award, the honor given to the best wideout in the country.

Blackmon is only the second two-time winner, following in the footsteps of fellow Big 12 receiver Michael Crabtree. Blackmon caught 113 balls for 1,336 yards and 15 touchdowns this season in the high-powered Cowboy offense. Blackmon had a streak of ten-straight games in which he scored, and went up over the 10+ catch mark six times during the season. Blackmon will allow someone else to win the award next season, as the junior has announced he plans to enter the NFL Draft next season.

Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon says he's "pretty sure" that the Cowboys' Fiesta Bowl game against Stanford will be his last before heading to the NFL.

Blackmon has not applied for the draft, but it's clear he is leaning in that direction. A finalist for the Biletnikoff Award given to the nation's most outstanding receiver, Blackmon is second nationally with 113 receptions and tied for third with 15 TD catches. He has 1,336 yards, good for seventh.

Wide receiver Justin Blackmon will be honored with the seniors before Saturday's game with Oklahoma.

This basically confirms the expected in that this will be Blackmon's final game in a Cowboy uniform. The junior will enter next year's NFL draft, a move head coach Mike Gundy encourages. "When we have a player that's in his situation, we felt like it was the right thing to do," said Gundy. "...I would hate for him to leave here without being able to walk across that field with his family one last time." Blackmon looks to obtain his second consecutive Biletnikoff award this season, the honor given to the country's best wideout. Considered the top receiver prospect in the draft, Blackmon has caught 103 passes for 1,241 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Cowboys this season.

Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon's streak of 14 straight 100-yard games ended in a win over Tulsa.

It’s not like Blackmon did not handle the ball against Tulsa. In a game that did not start until after midnight CT due to weather, Blackmon was 7-57-1. His streak comprised of all 12 games he played last year and the first two contests of this season. Blackmon’s 27 receptions on the season are fifth nationally.

In case you were worried about the departure of offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen, fear not, Oklahoma State's spring game featured plenty of offense. Quarterback Brandon Weedon threw for 240 yards and three scores, while Justin Blackmon hauled in seven catches for 87 yards and a score. The two played on opposite teams.

The passing game was humming right along with 726 yards threw the air. Unfortunately the ground game wasn't nearly as productive. Jeremy Smith had 27 yards on six carries and a pair of touchdowns (one receiving). Joseph Randle also had six carries, but finished with 39 yards on the ground. Kye Staley led all rushers with 55 yards on 11 carries.

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy expects wide receiver Justin Blackmon (ankle) and quarterback Brandon Weeden (ankle) to be fine in a couple of weeks.

Each will be ready to post some serious numbers against an unsuspecting opponent in the bowl game.

Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon caught eight passes for 101 yards and a score against Oklahoma on Saturday night.

Blackmon's fourth quarter touchdown was his 18th of the season and he has caught at least one touchdown in all 11 games he's played this season - Blackmon was suspended against Kansas State. Blackmon has also gone over 100 yards in all 11 games as well. I'm sure fantasy owners were hoping for more, but you can't argue with the consistent production he's had this season.

Tulsa World reports that Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon (ankle) missed practice again on Wednesday, but is expected to play against Oklahoma.

I haven't pulled Blackmon out of my lineup. At this point I'm going to ride this out for better or worse, but obviously hearing that he has yet to practice this week is not giving a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Oklahoma State star receiver Justin Blackmon caught 10 passes for 130 yards and a score in the win over Kansas.

Blackmon has been so good that performances with 130 receiving yards and a touchdown can actually be deemed letdowns.

Give Blackmon 16 scores on the season, one that has really come from nowhere.
