In their first game since the wide receiving corp was shaken up, Clemson wide receiver Jaron Brown led the way with four catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Brown had just five catches for 49 yards coming in, but certainly looked the part of a game breaker on his 74 yard scoring strike late.  Frosh DeAndre Hopkins grabbed seven balls, although they went for just 46 yards.  Early returns are encouraging here, lets see if these two can build on things next week against the Terps. Clemson receivers DeAndre Hopkins, Bryce McNeal and Jaron Brown have been promoted to the first team, according to the coaching staff.

No wide receiver has more that five catches on the season. We knew the receiving corps was a trouble spot heading into the season, but with quarterback Kyle Parker throwing the ball, this unit has to do better.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says that Marquan Jones, Xavier Dye and Jaron Brown lead the receiving rotation, but you could "flip a coin" for starting status.

The good news here is quarterback Kyle Parker is starting to get some consistent targets to throw to.  But we wouldn't invest in Clemson receivers on draft day.

Travis Sawchik lists wide receivers Bryce McNeal and Jaron Brown as two of his players to watch this spring for Clemson.

Brown is an athletic but raw prospect that has been drawing rave reviews early on this spring.  McNeal is a highly touted recruit from 2009.  Both can become fantasy factors with Kyle Parker at quarterback.
