Kentucky coach Rich Brooks confirmed that do-everything athlete Randall Cobb will see the majority of his snaps at wide receiver, though he'll also be worked in a bit at quarterback.
Cobb, coming off arthroscopic knee surgery, will be brought along slowly this spring. Mike Hartline's emergence at quarterback will likely mean good receiving numbers for the sophomore Cobb, though his snaps at QB and even from the RB spot will make him a commissioner's nightmare. Kentucky quarterback/wide receiver Randall Cobb had successful knee surgery on Tuesday. According to coach Herb Brooks, Cobb won't be able to practice for two-to-three weeks and is doubtful for UK's bowl game.

With Cobb likely out, Mike Hartline is expected to get the start. Hartline started the first eight games of the season before giving way to Cobb.

True freshman Randall Cobb will start at quarterback for Kentucky when they take on Mississippi State on Saturday.

Cobb has played multiple positions this year and is an exceptional athlete. Cobb will most certianly be on our week ten watch list podcast.

Look for the Florida Gators to be aware of Kentucky freshman Randall Cobb's whereabouts at all times as the dynamic talent is one one of the few healthy playmakers for the Wildcats.

While Cobb has many big days ahead of him, this may be one week to sit the multi-dimensional freshman.
