Oklahoma junior Drew Allen will pursue a transfer to a different program after losing out to Blake Bell for the starting QB duties.

Allen will graduate in May, therefore he will not have to sit out a year if he transfers to an FBS or FCS level program. Prior to the 2011 season, Bell and Allen were neck and neck for backup quarterback duties, but the Belldozer's running abilities has given him the clear edge since.
