Kansas sophomore RB Darrian Miller has rejoined the football team after being dismissed following the 2011 season.
Miller was the Jayhawks' second leading rusher in 2011. There was no specific reason for his dismissal, but Miller's name was mentioned in a group of 10 players who left the program following Charlie Weis' hiring. Jayhawks coach Turner Gill indicated that highly-rated freshman running back Darrian Miller will debut Saturday against McNeese State

Playing at a high classification for three years, Miller became the all-time leading rusher in the state of Missouri with more than 6,500 yards. An early enrollee in Lawrence, Miller was impressive from the get-go during spring drills and kept the momentum rolling through fall camp. Starting running back, James Sims, impressed (742 yds, 9 TDs) as a freshman a year ago.
