Perry Jones ran for a game-high 139 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-13 win over Maryland Saturday.

Jones ripped off a 47-yard TD run in the first quarter and added a 1-yard TD rush in the third quarter to give the Cavaliers the lead for good. It was the third 100-yard game of the season for the junior, who now has 782 yards and 4 touchdowns on the season.

Virginia’s Perry Jones ran for a career-high 149 yards in the Cavaliers’ 24-21 upset of Georgia Tech.

After rushing for 173 yards the first three weeks, Jones has posted 82 (Southern Miss), 110 (Idaho) and now 149 yards (18 carries) in the last three. He was also 3-37 receiving.
