Auburn head coach Gene Chizik announced that junior Clint Moseley will once again start at QB for the Tigers against Vanderbilt.

Moseley gets the start over sophomore Kiehl Frazier, who was once coined the team's "quarterback of the future." After completing 11-of-18 passes for 112 yards and one interception in a start over Ole Miss, Moseley holds on to his starting spot. Neither option is a solid one.

Auburn head coach Gene Chizik announced Friday that junior Clint Moseley will start over sophomore Kiehl Frazier for Saturday's game against Ole Miss.

Moseley has had recurring shoulder problems but took over at halftime in last week's embarrassing loss to Arkansas. He took four sacks and threw two interceptions compared to one touchdown, but Chizik is desparate to change this season around.

Clint Moseley’s battle to maintain the starting quarterback job will continue in preseason practice.

Moseley was limited this spring thanks to a shoulder injury that should be fully healed come August. Kiehl Frazier is his primary competition and he came on nicely in the spring. Coach Gene Chizik was pleased with what both QBs showed, but also noted that they have a long way to go. Hence, he is not in a hurry to tab a No. 1.

Quarterback Clint Moseley went 12-for-15 for 160 yards with 4 touchdowns during victory over Ole Miss.

In only his second start for the Tigers, Moseley did not disappoint, posting a passer rating of 257.6. Moseley had been yet to throw a TD this season, but more than made up for it Saturday, having one-third of his completions go for scores. Moseley has most likely cemented his starter tag, and will continue to lead his team against Georgia after the Tigers' off-week.

Clint Moseley has officially been named the starter for Saturday's game against LSU.

"He's earned the right to have an opportunity to start," said coach Gene Chizik. This will be Moseley's first career start for the Tigers, though he replaced starter Barrett Trotter last week against Florida. Moseley went 4-for-7 during Saturday's game and it appears as though he will have his hands full this week, having to face the No. 1 team in the country in his first ever start.
