The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt reports the Titans visited with Vanderbilt QB Jordan Rodgers.
Rodgers is viewed as a late rounder, if not an undrafted free agent, by many and is very raw. His footwork is very poor. However, he's a competitor, flashes big throws that are needed at the next level, is mobile and very tough. He could be a developmental prospect for the Titans, in case Locker doesn't pan out. Scouts Inc.'s Todd McShay thinks Vanderbilt QB Jordan Rodgers "has late round value for teams not in need of a rifle arm."

"Quick release, anticipation, tough and mobile," McShay tweeted. Jordan, Aaron's younger brother, went through his struggles as the team's starting quarterback, but also flashed likable traits. We wouldn't expect him to be more than a seventh-round option.

After senior QB Jordan Rodgers was replaced as the starter by junior QB Austyn Carta-Samuels, Vanderbilt has yet to determine who will start Saturday against Georgia.

Rodgers was only completing 54 percent of passes before being benched, and even though it was against Presbyterian, Carta-Samuels did play well. "We felt like we needed to look at some things, and we’ll continue to do that at that position, as well as others," head coach James Franklin said. The ground attack which totaled 410 rushing yards certainly helped Carta-Samuels.

Vanderbilt junior QB Jordan Rodgers completed 13-of-23 passes for 214 yards, including one touchdown and one interception in Thursday's game against South Carolina.

Rodgers felt the pressure all night and was forced to leave the pocket on too many occasions. It may not appear on the stat sheet, but Rodgers got away with a few poor decisions, including throwing across his body into traffic. Aaron's little brother also showed off his lack of velocity, failing to get the ball to the target in time.

Quarterback Jordan Rodgers had 3 total touchdowns in Vanderbilt's near-upset of No. 10 Arkansas Saturday.

The junior threw for 240 yards with a TD while adding 66 yards and 2 scores on the ground for the Commodores. Making only his second start of the season, Rodgers was almost able to orchestrate the win over the Razorbacks, but lost 31-28.

Jordan Rodgers, brother of NFL's Aaron, will make first start at quarterback for Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Larry Smith was the Commodores' starting QB, but he has struggled all season. Rodgers, a community college transfer prior to the 2010 season, has appeared in all six games. He was only 4-of-19 for 47 yards (1 INT) last week against Georgia. On the season, he has thrown for 236 yards with 1 TD and 3 INTs.
