USF sophomore WR Andre Davis is "on the rise" and could be in for a "breakout season", according to Andrea Adelson of ESPN.

Davis ended up with 22 catches for 273 yards and two touchdowns last year in a reserve role, but admitted to not being fully comfortable until the Bulls fifth game of the season. Receivers coach Jerome Pathon says Davis is at his best when getting vertically down the field and adjusting to deep balls. "If he continues to work hard, I think his celing is as high as it wants to be," Pathon said.
