Bills signed South Florida WR Andre Davis.
Davis (6'1/207) made 30 starts at USF, parlaying 153 catches into 2,136 yards (14.0 YPR) and 17 TDs. He ran 4.60 at his Pro Day, also struggling in the broad (9'10") and vertical (32 1/2") jumps. Davis lacks speed and leaping ability to win outside, and shows a concerning amount of timidness when running over the middle, which would be problematic in the slot. He'll likely go down as a good college player who couldn't cut it in the pros. May 4 - 4:54 PM

CBS Sports' Rob Rang wrote that South Florida senior WR Andre Davis "showed off his acceleration" at the Shrine Game.

"Davis showed off his acceleration with two big catches in this game," Rang wrote. "His first came on an underneath route in which he initially caught the ball short of the first down marker. Davis recognized where he was and had to get to, showing a second burst to convert. The second came off a quick slant in which Davis left a few defenders in his wake. It went for a gain of 19 yards, the longest play from scrimmage in an offensively starved contest in which the only touchdown scored came in the closing seconds, giving the East a 19-3 victory." TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline graded Davis as a Rd. 7 or UDFA prospect this summer.

South Florida senior WR Andre Davis caught three balls for 36 yards at Saturday's East-West Shrine Game.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Davis is hoping to sneak into the back half of Day 3, and his showing last week didn't hurt that cause. USF's Offensive MVP this season hauled in 36 receptions for 594 yards and seven touchdowns in 2014. "Davis is an adequately sized receiver with reliable hands but limited deep speed," TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline wrote. "He’s a potential late round choice and number five receiver at the next level."

South Florida senior WR Andre Davis will attend the East West Shrine game.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Davis has hauled in 30 receptions for 537 yards, with seven touchdowns on the year. The South Florida prospect missed four games this season due to a bruised sternum, an injury he suffered making a diving catch during the Bulls 36-31 win over Western Carolina. Last season, Davis had a USF season record with 735 receiving yards on a team-leading 49 receptions. Davis, who earned the Offensive MVP Award at the school's annual post-season banquet, garnered a Rd. 7 or UDFA grade from TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline this summer.

USF sophomore WR Andre Davis is "on the rise" and could be in for a "breakout season", according to Andrea Adelson of ESPN.

Davis ended up with 22 catches for 273 yards and two touchdowns last year in a reserve role, but admitted to not being fully comfortable until the Bulls fifth game of the season. Receivers coach Jerome Pathon says Davis is at his best when getting vertically down the field and adjusting to deep balls. "If he continues to work hard, I think his celing is as high as it wants to be," Pathon said.

Freshman receiver Andre Davis will make his first start for USF at Rutgers on Saturday night.

Injuries have taken their toll with USF’s cast of receivers and Davis is a beneficiary. He took over for Sterling Griffin during the game against Cincinnati two weeks ago and was 4-60-1.
