Rutgers WR Mark Harrison "could be selected much earlier than people expect," according to draft insider Tony Pauline.
"Harrison silently turned in one of the best workouts of any receiver at the combine," Pauline added. "Just prior to the Rutgers pro-day last month Harrison broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot yet is expected to be 100% by the middle of May." Per Pauline, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers have all had recent contact with Harrison. Wed, Apr 24, 2013 01:29:00 PM

Rutgers WR Mark Harrison ran an official 4.46 forty during the NFL Combine.

Harrison's 10 yard split was a 1.56. The long strider is turning into a late round favorite in the draft community, but he needs to catch the ball more consistently. Some are even drawing comparisons to Brandon Marshall.

Rutgers coach Greg Schiano expects receiver Mark Harrison (head) to play against Cincinnati.

Harrison has been struggling with the effects of a head injury suffered in practice a couple of weeks ago. He sat out the past two games, but should be good to go against Cincy whom he had a career game against last season with 10-240-4 in a 69-38 loss. Good things usually happen when Harrison touches the ball. Unfortunately, he has only 14 receptions in eight games this season, but is averaging 19.6 yards. The junior averaged 18.8 yards on his 44 receptions last season.
