When he touched the ball, he did well running for 343 yards at an average of a hefty six yards per carry. With starter Andre Ellington often injured, the Tigers are in need of a dependable No. 2.

Freshman running back Mike Bellamy will not be eligible to return from suspension for the Orange Bowl.

Bellamy was suspended by coach Dabo Swinney prior to the ACC championship game because he violated team rules. The shame of it is that he had a productive freshman season only to miss the two biggest games of the year: the ACC title game and the upcoming Orange Bowl date with West Virginia. He is second on the Tigers with 343 yards rushing and is averaging 6.0 per carry with 3 touchdowns. He had a season-high 67 yards at Georgia Tech on Oct. 29.
