NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah believes Houston WR Deontay Greenberry is worth a "gamble" in the fifth- or sixth-round.

Greenberry "has some size and big play ability but too many drops in traffic," Jeremiah tweeted. The Houston receiver was not invited to the NFL Combine after declaring early, topping many peoples' snub lists. However, a number of prospects every single year get drafted and even produce early despite not attending the Combine. Greenberry would likely qualify as an "upside" selection.

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler believes Houston WR Deontay Greenberry was snubbed from the 2015 NFL combine.

"Despite abysmal blocking performances and dozens of drops on his collegiate résumé, Greenberry, who was a rare top recruit to end up at Houston, has the size/speed dimensions that NFL teams seek at the position," Brugler wrote. Frankly, Greenberry was a shocking omission. We think he probably made a mistake in declaring for the draft early, but Greenberry has all the tools to become a productive pro receiver. He's going to be drafted in the later rounds as a developmental prospect. The 6-feet-3, 198-pounder finished with 841 yards and six touchdowns in 2014 after collecting 82 receptions for 1,202 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2013. We attribute a lot of the struggles to poor quarterback play.

Greenberry was another prospect who saw a dip in production from 2013 to 2014, catching 72 passes for 841 yards and six touchdowns with poor quarterback play. Greenberry will likely be drafted in the later rounds and could fit on a team as solely a vertical role player.

Houston junior WR Deontay Greenberry will enter the 2015 NFL Draft.

In terms of production, Greenberry's 2014 was a step back from 2013, but he still caught 72 passes for 841 yards and six touchdowns. However, we would attribute a lot of that to poor quarterback play. That is not to say Greenberry is ready to contribute immediately in the NFL. He will likely have a role as a No. 4 receiver early, and will be labeled with "upside."

NFLDraftScout.com analyst Dane Brugler said Houston junior WR Deontay Greenberry "has been very effective as a slot receiver and displays playmaking ability after the catch, but he too often allows defenders to dictate his path and needs to show more intensity as a blocker."

Greenberry signed with an agent and will enter the NFL draft.
