Bengals signed Florida State RB James Wilder Jr.
Wilder (6-foot-3, 232) is built like a basketball wing defender and runs like it with an unorthodox, upright style that contributed to an incredibly injury-plagued college career. His draft stock was torpedoed with a 4.86 forty time at the Combine. Wilder finished his three-year stay at FSU with 1,358 yards and 20 touchdowns on 226 carries (6.01 YPC). He had 25 catches. While Wilder was a productive college player, his skill set is highly unlikely to result in a productive NFL career. He will struggle to find snaps in Cincinnati's crowded backfield.
