Florida State running back James Wilder, Jr. is facing two criminal charges after incident in Tallahassee on Wednesday.

This will likely have repercussions as far as Wilder's participation in spring practice, which begins March 19. After getting 35 carries (160 yards, 1 TD) as a freshman last season, the 6-foot-2, 220-pounder is expected to carry a larger load in 2012 and this spring was to be one where he would put himself in position to earn the additional responsibility. After all, even with his small yardage total, Wilder is FSU's second-leading returning RB. Wilder's father, James, is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' all-time leading rusher with 5,957 yards.
