Oklahoma State WR Tracy Moore, who was expected to attend the Combine, has been granted an extra year of eligibility and will return to school for the 2013 season.

Moore was apparently listed as an attendee due to an oversight by the Combine committee. His 2012 season was cut short due to injury, but that followed an arrest and one game suspension for urinating in public. Moore also received three alcohol related citations last offseason.

Oklahoma State senior WR Tracy Moore received a citation for suspicion of providing alcohol, his third citation this offseason.

Moore was cited for public intoxication in March and was cited for "outraging public decency," otherwise known as urinating in an alley, in early June. Oklahoma State hasn’t publicly addressed Moore’s offseason missteps, but head coach Mike Gundy takes a hard approach that his players are innocent until proved guilty. Moore caught 45 passes for 672 yards and four touchdowns in 2011.

Duplicating his 2011 totals for receptions and yardage will land Tracy Moore in the top 10 for both categories at Oklahoma State.

A season after catching 45 passes for 672 yards, Moore will take Justin Blackmon’s spot at outside receiver. While new faces have to mesh on offense, one would think a healthy season would result in increased productivity as the new No. 1 receiver. Merely matching those numbers would vault Moore into the program’s top 10. That says a lot about the offensive system and certainly QB Brandon Weeden, who has moved on. Moore has certainly done his job, too.

Receiver Tracy Moore is adjusting nicely to moving into the spot vacated by Justin Blackmon.

With Blackmon gone to the NFL, the Cowboys have a need for an outside receiver. They have found that player this spring in the person of the Cowboys’ leading returning receiver: Tracy Moore. The coaching staff is pleased by what has been a smooth transition so far. Moore was 45-672-4 as a junior last season.
