Indiana sophomore QB Tre Roberson appeared to have broken his left ankle or leg during the team's game against UMass.

The injured looked terrible on replays, so we do not expect good news on his availability. As a freshman starter last season, Roberson completed 57 percent of his 142 passes for 937 yards along with three touchdowns and six interceptions.

Following a 1-11 campaign, Tre Roberson’s job as IU’s starting quarterback is not assured.

Nor should it be. As a freshman last season, Roberson took over the offense the second week of Big Ten play and struggled along with the rest of the Hoosiers. Roberson, a very mature individual, knows the score and he understands the score is something Indiana too often came up on the short end of. He completed 57 percent of his 142 passes for 937 yards and 3/6.
