Georgia HC Mark Richt told reporters that he doubted that redshirt senior WR Justin Scott-Wesley (knee) will play in 2015.

"Right now I’d say it’s doubtful that [Scott-Wesley]’ll play this season, said Richt. Doubtful, but not impossible, as the redshirt senior will apparently not be taking a medical disqualification this season. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound wide receiver suffered the knee injury on a non-contact play when he slipped running a route in mid-August. He has a history of knee woes, having also torn his right ACL in 2013.

Georgia redshirt senior WR Justin Scott-Wesley remains "undecided" on if he will attempt to play in 2015.

"Last week he was moreso leaning towards shutting it down, and had mentioned that he was gonna be done and not coming back. I spoke with him again today, and it was probably within the last hour, that right now he’s not sure," Scott-Wesley's high school coach said. The receiver suffered a non-contact knee injury a week or so ago and has been sidelined since. JSW tore his right ACL in 2013.

Georgia redshirt senior WR Justin Scott-Wesley was not at Tuesday's practice.

Scott-Wesley was in street clothes during Monday's practice, but he wasn't at Tuesday's practice at all. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound sophomore sustained a right knee injury on a non-contact play a week ago and HC Mark Richt has already indicated that he's not sure if Scott-Wesley will return this season, "if at all." It's a tough break for the Georgia receiving core and an even tougher break for the receiver himself, who tore his right ACL in 2013.

Georgia HC Mark Richt is not sure when redshirt senior WR Justin Scott-Wesley will return this season, "if at all."

Georgia has been hit by injuries at receiver for multiple seasons, and 2015 looks no different. JSW suffered a non-contact right knee injury last week. The receiver tore his right ACL in 2013. Malcolm Mitchell and Isaiah McKenzie are expected to start, but with uncertainty at quarterback and plenty of talent at running back, expect the receivers to take a back seat.

Georgia redshirt senior WR Justin Scott-Wesley suffered a right knee injury in practice on Monday.

The injury occurred on a non-contact play, with Scott-Wesley apparently slipping while running a route. There are no details as to how long he might be sidelined, as head coach Mark Richt has yet to address the injury. Said new offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, "I don't know. I was going through practice." The knee injury is doubly concerning because the redshirt senior tore his right ACL in 2013. In limited action late last season, he caught three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.

Georgia redshirt junior WR Justin Scott-Wesley is expected to return from an ACL injury against Vanderbilt.

JSW will return alongside Malcolm Mitchell. Obviously Georgia's offense is ground focused, but adding the two receivers will make more possible playmakers available on the outside and in the slot.

Athens Banner-Herald's Marc Weiszer reports that Georgia WRs Justin Scott-Wesley and Malcolm Mitchell are "very doubtful" for Saturday’s game versus Troy.

Mitchell has not played since suffering a knee injury in last season's opener against Clemson, while Scott-Wesley hasn't played since the Tennessee game last October. Both Georgia wide receivers are coming off of ACL injuries.

Georgia redshirt sophomore WR Jordan Scott-Wesley was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession/use of a drug object.

Scott-Wesley is out for the season due to injury, so if head coach Mark Richt hands down a suspension it won't take place until next season. University police were called to the dorm after someone smelled marijuana in the building. They were then given consent to enter Scott-Wesley's room and found a "grinder," pipe, and residue of marijuana.

Georgia redshirt sophomore WR Jordan Scott-Wesley will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

The Bulldogs are now down three receivers in Malcolm Mitchell, Michael Bennett, and Scott-Wesley. The redshirt sophomore had recorded 16 catches for 311 yards and two touchdowns this season and was expected to take on a bigger role.

Receiver Justin Scott-Wesley improved to the point he could have an impact when the season begins.

The track star was also a star on the gridiron this spring. A redshirt his first year on campus last season, Scott-Wesley will be running routes in Mark Richt’s offense should he continue to impress in preseason camp. The Bulldogs have a few good young receivers and Scott-Wesley may be on his way to being among the best of the group.
