Seahawks selected UCLA DE Cassius Marsh with the No. 108 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Marsh (6-foot-4, 252) made 38 starts for the Bruins, logging 25 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, and three blocked kicks. He was an honorable mention All-Pac 12 pick as a senior by the conference's coaches. Marsh ran 4.89 with a 32-inch vertical and 9-foot broad jump at the Combine. Although Marsh lacks ideal edge speed, he plays with power and a non-stop motor, and can set the edge in the run game. He was an undersized five technique in Jim Mora's defense, and will likely be a strong-side defender in the pros. May 10 - 12:44 PM

UCLA senior DL Cassius Marsh ran the forty in 4.70 and 4.77 seconds at UCLA's pro day.

Marsh logged a 9-6 broad jump and hefted 17 reps on the bench press. "Marsh — who has 33-inch arms — had those attending UCLA’s pro day marvelling at his athleticism," wrote NFL.com's Gil Brandt. "He might be able to play outside linebacker in the NFL. He also worked out some at tight end, and that might be a possible position for him as well." Back in December, ESPN's Todd McShay projected the 6-foot-4, 268 pound Marsh as a fourth- or fifth-round pick in May's draft.

Marsh will either be viewed as versatile or a tweener by scouts. He could line up as a 4-3 DE, 3-4 LB, or even a tight end at the next level. The 6-foot-4, 268 pound Marsh has collected 11 sacks and 18 tackles for loss over the past two seasons. ESPN's Todd McShay has projected Marsh as a fourth- or fifth-round pick in May's draft.
