Bengals selected Arkansas WR Cobi Hamilton with the No. 197 overall pick.
Hamilton (6-foot-1 3/4, 212) emerged as Tyler Wilson's go-to target as a senior, catching 90 balls for 1,335 yards (14.8 YPR) and five touchdowns. Hamilton lacks top-end speed (4.56 forty) and has small hands (8 3/4") with a tendency to let passes get into his body rather than secure them naturally. His biggest plus is physicality, as Hamilton is a post-catch tackle breaker and fierce blocker with some Anquan Boldin to his game. The team drafted a possession receiver in Sanu last year, and Hamilton wins underneath on slants and crosses. Sat, Apr 27, 2013 05:08:00 PM

Arkansas WR Cobi Hamilton ran an official 4.56 forty at the NFL Combine.

Hamilton wins with strength after the catch and posted a 1.63 10 yard split. He was the favorite target of Tyler Wilson this year, which led to a lot of production, but Hamilton will be a mid third day pick.

Arkansas senior WR Cobi Hamilton finished the 2012 season off with a 10 reception, 98 yard performance against LSU Friday.

Hamilton was fed the ball this season and produced great numbers. He does not have the open field wiggle like smaller receivers, but he runs hard to pick up yards after contact. Still, we would like to see Hamilton body catch less, but he will be fun to watch during Senior Bowl week.

Arkansas WR Cobi Hamilton will attend the 2013 Senior Bowl.

Hamilton has put together a great senior season despite the lack of weapons around him. The Razorback sports a nice frame, strong hands to adjust at the catch point, and excellent after catch ability.

SI's Tony Pauline believes that Arkansas senior WR Cobi Hamilton could be a surprise pick late in the second-round.

Pauline cites Hamilton's "ability to find open space in the defense then pick up big chunks of yardage running after the catch." He adds that this is a "thin" receiver class, especially among seniors, so Hamilton's name could be called earlier than expected.

Arkansas senior WR Cobi Hamilton caught 10 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's loss to Rutgers.

He certainly looks recovered from a generic "upper body injury" suffered a few weeks ago. Hamilton was on the receiving end of 303 of the Razorbacks 419 passing yards and had his way with the Rutgers defensive backs, including talented junior corner Logan Ryan. A favorite target of Tyler Wilson, Hamilton remains a top-five senior receiver option.

Despite suffering from a generic "upper body injury" in Saturday's opener, Arkansas senior WR Cobi Hamilton is fine and ready to play against Louisiana-Monroe.

Hamilton only played the first two series of the Razorbacks' opener and caught one of his two targets. The senior, along with tight end Chriss Gragg, are set to see the majority of Tyler Wilson's targets, so it is a good sign that the most veteran member of the receiving group won't miss a snap.

Arkansas senior WR Cobi Hamilton reportedly "stole the show" during the Razorbacks Saturday scrimmage.

Hamilton reportedly caught 11 balls for 165 yards and two touchdowns. "That’s what we expect from Cobi every night, every day," Arkansas coach John L. Smith said. After losing three receivers to the NFL, including the program's two most productive targets in history, Hamilton will have to step up in a big way. He and tight end Chris Gragg should be Tyler Wilson's top two targets.

Arkansas senior WR Cobi Hamilton's 34 catch 2011 season was a "disappointing campaign," according to SI's Tony Pauline.

Hamilton certainly had to fight for targets in the most crowded receiving corps in the country. With Joe Adams and Jarius Wright, the two leading receivers in Razorbacks history, in the NFL, Hamilton and senior tight end Chris Gragg should get more attention from senior quarterback Tyler Wilson. Pauline says Hamilton is possibly a third or fourth receiver option for a team at the next level and gives him a fourth-round grade.

ESPN's SEC Blog ranked Arkansas senior Cobi Hamilton as the top WR in the conference, followed by Tennesse juniors Justin Hunter and Da'Rick Rogers.

"One of the most physically gifted receivers in the league," Hamilton is in line to post huge numbers with senior quarterback Tyler Wilson throwing him the ball. The "incredibly athletic" Hunter ranks second even though he missed part of last season with a torn ACL, and his teammate Rogers ranks third despite his off-field issues. Texas A&M senior Ryan Swope and Auburn senior Emory Blake round out the top five.
