Ravens selected Wake Forest WR Michael Campanaro with the No. 218 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Campanaro (5-foot-9 3/8, 192) set Wake Forest's all-time record for receptions (229) despite missing four games as a senior with a fractured collarbone. He finished his career with a 10.9 YPR average and 14 touchdowns, bringing back a punt for a 15th score. Campanaro will be limited to slot receiver in the pros, but showed excellent athleticism at the Combine with a 4.46 forty, 39-inch vertical, and 10-foot-2 broad jump. Although Campanaro's ceiling is capped, he could certainly make some NFL noise as a third receiver and return option. May 10 - 5:37 PM

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler ranks senior WR Michael Camapanaro as Wake Forest's top prospect.

"He isn't the biggest or the fastest, but Campanaro wins with his savvy routes and natural hands, setting up his moves well at all levels of the field to catch defenders off balance and create space with his short-area quickness," Brugler says of the senior receiver. Campanaro is used in a variety of ways but likely projects to an inside spot at the NFL level.

Campanaro did not have to undergo surgery on the broken hand, but this recovery was a bit faster than initially planned. The target date has been next weekend's matchup with Boston College, and although the senior is not definitively playing Thursday, it does appear to be a possibility.

Michael Campanaro moves into the role of top receiver for the Demon Deacons.

Campanaro was a nice compliment to Chris Givens last season and he is unquestionably the top returning receiver for 2012 on an offensive unit that returns only three starters. His 73 receptions (833 yards, 2 TDs) last season placed fourth in the ACC. Versatile, the junior-to-be returned a punt for touchdown and threw a pair of TD passes.
