Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports Clemson C Dalton Freeman weighed in the 260-pound last season.

Clemson C Dalton Freeman is drawing "heavy interest" from the Patriots, according to draft insider Tony Pauline.

Freeman also has a private workout scheduled with the Atlanta Falcons and is visiting the Chiefs next week. Freeman was the most consistent member of the Tigers' offensive line, but he is an adequate player overall. He was not invited to the NFL Combine.

Clemson beat writer Travis Sawchik does not agree with the Tigers' coaching staff's experiment of using senior C Dalton Freeman at RT.

Sawchik points out that despite the questions at right tackle, moving Freeman to that spot would just create another one at the center position. Freeman is a three year starter at center, and it is no sure thing he will be successful on the edge, but Clemson has practiced him at both spots. For now, however, it seems Freeman will continue to anchor the middle of the offensive line.
