East Carolina DT Terry Williams pulled a hamstring on his second 40-yard dash attempt at the school's pro day and was unable to participate in drills, reports TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline.
The big tackle did complete his first run, though we haven't seen his time yet. Williams measured in at 5-foot-11 7/8, 329 pounds, which means he's lost over 30 pounds from his 360 playing weight. He hoisted up 22 reps on the bench, and posted a vertical jump of 24 inches and a broad jump of 8-4. Mar 26 - 10:41 PM

East Carolina DT Terry Williams did not receive a combine invite.

Disappointing news for Williams, who no doubt wanted to show evaluators that he can move quickly even at 6-foot-1, 353 pounds. The true nose tackle recently played in the Medal of Honor Bowl. "Williams is a player I’ve rated since watching him in 2012 as he’s a big, powerful interior tackle with the ability to hold the point and occupy blockers," TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline wrote earlier this season. "He gets a bit sloppy at times and has not shown much in the way of off field conditioning but if the light goes on Williams will be playing on Sunday’s."

East Carolina redshirt senior DT Terry Williams will play in Saturday's Medal of Honor Bowl.

Allow us to introduce you to perhaps this class' biggest player. The 6-foot-1, 353-pound Williams is a true nose tackle. He played in the 320-range in 2013, but didn't seem to lose much agility when bulking up to planet-proportions this season.

East Carolina redshirt senior DT Terry Williams will make the NFL if "the light goes on," according to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline.

Due to his work in Saturday's upset win over Virginia Tech, Pauline named Williams his Week 3 "Sleeper of the Week." The analyst wrote: "Williams is a player I’ve rated since watching him in 2012 as he’s a big, powerful interior tackle with the ability to hold the point and occupy blockers. He gets a bit sloppy at times and has not shown much in the way of off field conditioning but if the light goes on Williams will be playing on Sunday’s." While he likes Williams' game, Pauline didn't have a preseason draftable grade on him.

TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline is confused why NFL scouts don't value East Carolina redshirt senior DT Terry Williams more than they do.

"Scouts pay nose tackle Terry Williams little notice, which is unfortunate," Pauline wrote. "On film Williams is a big, interior tackle who holds the gaps or uses his short area quickness to make plays on the ball. In my opinions he’s one of the better nose tackle sleepers I’ve broken down this summer." While he likes Williams' game, the analyst currently doesn't have a draftable grade on him.

East Carolina sophomore DT Terry Williams has been suspended indefinitely from football activities after a drug-related arrest.

Williams was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell. He lined up predominantly at nose tackle for the Pirates last season as a redshirt freshman and tallied 31 tackles and two forced fumbles.
