Seahawks selected Missouri OT Justin Britt with the No. 64 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Britt (6-foot-5 7/8, 325) missed the final three games of his junior season with a torn ACL, but returned to start all 14 at left tackle as a senior. He showed above-average athleticism at the Combine, clocking a 5.19 forty and 27 1/2-inch vertical. Britt needs to add strength (23 bench reps), but has adequate arm length (33 1/2") to stay at tackle. Britt will probably max out as a swing tackle and useful spot starter, but will compete with Michael Bowie at right tackle as a rookie. Fri, May 9, 2014 09:33:00 PM

Missouri starting junior RT Justin Britt will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

Britt will have surgery on his ACL in the coming week. The Tigers continue to have health issues with their offensive line, and this only adds to the list. Britt has started 22 straight games on the right side.

Missouri junior RT Justin Britt suffered a Jones fracture during team testing and has already undergone surgery to repair the injury.

Britt is the team's projected starting right tackle and is expected to be ready for the opener on September 1. The redshirt junior started all 13 games last season at left tackle for the injured Elvis Fisher but should flip to the right side due to Fisher's return. Redshirt freshman Taylor Chappell will take practice reps on the right side in Britt's absence.
