Missouri junior RT Justin Britt suffered a Jones fracture during team testing and has already undergone surgery to repair the injury.

Britt is the team's projected starting right tackle and is expected to be ready for the opener on September 1. The redshirt junior started all 13 games last season at left tackle for the injured Elvis Fisher but should flip to the right side due to Fisher's return. Redshirt freshman Taylor Chappell will take practice reps on the right side in Britt's absence.
