Arkansas senior FB/LB Kiero Small will miss some time after undergoing surgery to repair an injured foot, which was hurt in Wednesday's practice.
A coaches' favorite, Small is a bettering ram of a blocker and the Razorbacks even experimented with him at linebacker during the offseason. Arkansas senior Kiero Small could see time on both sides of the ball after practicing at LB along with his FB duties.

Small is a throwback, bruising fullback, but the Razorbacks only plan to use him in 20 percent of their offensive sets. "He’s too good a football player to have on the sideline," said new defensive coordinator Paul Haynes. "It’s not me starting or anything, it’s just a depth thing and I’m all for it," Small added. The senior certainly is not afraid to stick his nose in the hole and make contact, so as a run filling linebacker this could be an interesting experiment. The Razorbacks plan to employ plenty of single back offensive sets.
