Missouri LT Elvis Fisher may return to the Tigers starting lineup for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt.
Fisher has missed time since the Tigers' week tow matchup with Georgia after injuring the MCL in his right knee. The senior is not the most athletically gifted or mobile blocker, and the injury certainly won't help that, but Fisher is a veteran presence along a make shift offensive line. Missouri starting senior LT Elvis Fisher tweeted that he is not traveling for the Tigers game against South Carolina.

We conclude that this means he will not play in Saturday's game. Fisher injured his MCL against Georgia and was said to be out for an undetermined amount of time. He is the Tigers most experienced offensive linemen, but the entire unit was trounced by Georgia, including Fisher, so it will likely get ugly again against South Carolina.

Missouri senior T Elvis Fisher will miss an undetermined amount of time after injuring his MCL Saturday against Georgia.

Fisher was the Tigers best healthy lineman, and it showed after he left the game since junior quarterback James Franklin was continuously pressured all night. Senior Jack Meiners could return this week form injury, but he will likely shift to right tackle with junior Justin Britt staying on the left side. Franklin is a mobile quarterback, but he needs time to throw in order to be a successful passer.
