Chiefs selected Georgia CB Sanders Commings with the No. 134 overall pick.
Commings (6-foot 1/8, 216) started 35 games at UGA, recording eight career picks. He ran 4.41 at the Combine with a 34.5-inch vertical. Commings is a classic press-man corner with a thick build, but has a tendency to shy away from contact. He's also had some off-the-field issues, getting suspended for the first two games of 2012 after an offseason domestic violence charge. He won't contribute on defense as a rookie. Georgia CB Sanders Commings worked out privately for the Tennessee Titans, according to Titans Insider Terry McCormick.

The Titans like physical cornerbacks and that's what Commings is. He's big and lengthy, which is two traits that teams look for that generally play Cover 2. The Titans are Cover 2 team, hence the interest. Although he's a cornerback, Commings may be a fit at safety as he has similarities to San Francisco 49ers safety Dashon Goldson. He has received interest from the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers.

Commings' 10 yard split clocked in at 1.53 seconds. The Bulldog is a pure press man corner and will struggle if drafted into a different system. This is a nice straight-line time for Commings, but every team won't be attracted to the thick corner.
