Falcons selected Notre Dame OLB Prince Shembo with the No. 139 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Shembo (6-foot-1 1/8, 253) made 34 starts for the Irish, finishing his career with 24.5 tackles for loss, 19.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. He ran 4.71 at the Combine with a 38 1/2-inch vertical and 10-foot-2 broad jump. Shembo has some natural pass-rush tools, but disappeared for long stretches in college and is a straight-line player without edge-bending ability. He'll likely max out as a nickel and dime rusher. Notre Dame senior OLB Prince Shembo visited the Packers and had private workouts for the Patriots, Falcons and the Jaguars, according to the National Football Post's Aaron Wilson.

The 6-foot-1, 253-pound Shembo played in every game for the Irish and had 46 tackles, five sacks, five tackles for losses, one forced fumble and 17 quarterback hurries. Teams will have questions concerning the sexual assault allegations made by a Saint Mary’s College student back in 2010. The student ended up committing suicide after the incident, however, Shembo was not been charged with any wrongdoing. The Notre Dame prospect has recently spoke out to clear his name, and is projected to go in the 6th round of the draft.

Notre Dame senior OLB Prince Shembo will attend the East-West Shrine Game.

Shembo has racked up four tackles for loss this season, all four of which were sacks. Three of those four were posted against one of Notre Dame's top opponents in Arizona State. Pass rushing outside linebackers always have an odd role in all star games, but Shembo will be able to display his ability to hold the edge and cover the flat.

Notre Dame senior OLB Prince Shembo earned a LaMarr Woodley comparison from draft insider Tony Pauline.

"I see terrific football player who'll be under-drafted due to measurables," Pauline tweeted. Shembo is a "lot like when LaMarr Woodley" when he left Michigan. Shembo is a forgotten piece in Notre Dame's defense, but he will benefit from playing next to and behind the likes of Louis Nix and Stephon Tuitt.
