Former Minnesota WR A.J. Barker was arrested for marijuana possession in Houston, Texas on Sunday.
Barker, who left Minnesota after a dispute with head coach Jerry Kill, has a court date set for February 14. Although multiple reports stated Barker would transfer to the University of Houston, athletics spokesman David Bassity said the following on Wednesday: "A.J. Minnesota junior WR A.J. Barker has left the program due to major disagreements with head coach Jerry Kill.

Barker has missed the last three games, and the walk-on was not happy with how he was treated during that time, specifically by Kill. Prior to the injury, he had 30 catches, 577 yards and seven touchdowns. Barker is planning on transferring to another program for the 2013 season.
