Chiefs selected Tennessee G Zach Fulton with the No. 193 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Fulton (6-foot-4 5/8, 316) made 40 starts for the Vols, all at right guard. Although he needs to get stronger (25 bench reps), Fulton has mauler potential in the run game with a powerful profile, and was not a deficient pass protector in the SEC. He has plus arm length for a guard (33 1/4"). Fulton figures to open his NFL career as a reserve, but has a shot to develop into a starter. May 10 - 4:27 PM

Tennessee G Zach Fulton and Notre Dame G Chris Watt worked out for the Bears on Friday.

Both are expected to audition as both guards and centers. "Every team has had me snap at least a few times every time they came in," Watt said. Added Fulton: "I’ve been working on my snaps." Watt, a 6-foot-3, 310-pounder, projected to go between Rds. 3-4, spoke to the NFL's increased value on versatility: "Most of the teams want me to be able to know the three interior positions. That’s the best way to get onto the field."

Tennessee senior G Zach Fulton accepted an invitation to participate in the 2014 East-West Shrine Game.

The senior started the past three seasons while fulfilling his eligibility as a Volunteer. The 6-foot-5, 324-pounder isn't as heralded as Tennessee's tackles, but he's a powerful run blocker who shows good balance for a player his size.

Tennessee junior G Zach Fulton will return for his senior season.

This isn't a surprise, but Fulton will remain part of a talented offensive line. The junior has started two full seasons at right guard and will likely earn a draftable grade heading into 2013.
