Arizona redshirt sophomore WR Cayleb Jones "seems undecided about his next move," writes TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline.
The analyst refers, of course, to Jones' decision on whether to declare for the NFL Draft. "It was thought for the longest time Jones, who led the Wildcats with 65 receptions for 902 yards, would enter the draft but he’s recently pulled back and remains uncommitted," Pauline wrote. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Jones isn't a burner nor a quick-twitch athlete, but he's extremely strong and wins at the catch point by shielding away defenders while leaping for the ball. NCAA DBs have found it difficult to neutralize Jones in one-on-one circumstances. Sat, Dec 13, 2014 09:20:00 PM

Even though Arizona redshirt sophomore WR Cayleb Jones is only a redshirt sophomore, CBS Sports' Dane Brugler believes he "has put himself on the NFL radar very quickly."

"He has only average speed and initial burst, but does an excellent job using his size and length to shield the play from defenders and out-muscle everyone around him. Jones also uses a strong stiff arm and powerful balance to be a threat after the catch. He's only a redshirt sophomore, but Jones has put himself on the NFL radar very quickly," Brugler wrote. Arizona redshirt sophomore WR Cayleb Jones caught four balls for 143 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 26-23 triumph versus UTSA.

Jones, a native of Austin, Texas, transferred from the University of Texas last summer after allegedly breaking the jaw of a man dating his ex-girlfriend. He wound up in Arizona and his Wildcat career is off to a nice start. Austin Hill draws a lot of attention on the other side of the field -- Hill was held to two catches for nine yards in this game -- so Jones should have room to roam in 2014. He took advantage of it on the first play of scrimmage on Thursday, racing 85 yards from a touchdown off a pass from Anu Solomon.
