NFL.com's Gil Brandt believes Eastern Illinois' Andrew Manley could be a "wild card" in the 2015 QB class.

Brandt does list Manley at New Mexico State, however. "He's a pro-style passer who isn't playing a lot at New Mexico State because the Aggies' system doesn't quite match his skills," Brandt writes. "He is a strong-armed, drop-back quarterback playing on an option team." Brandt also called NC State quarterback Jacoby Brissett, a Florida transfer, a wild card in the class as well.

New Mexico State starting redshirt junior QB Andrew Manley will transfer.

No specific reason was given, however, head coach Doug Martin apparently hinted that a change in offensive philosophy could have played a role in the decision. ""Obviously with all the changes in the offensive system he didn’t fit in as well the way he may have in the past. The competition at quarterback was going to be tougher for him this season, as well as some of the family matters he has, he wanted to get closer to home."
