Draft Insider Tony Pauline views Bowling Green redshirt junior WR Chris Gallon as a fourth-round prospect prior to the 2014 season.

That is one round worse than Pauline's projection for Gallon prior to last season, pegging him with a third-round grade. The tall (6'4/220 lbs) receiver missed a large portion of last season following a knee injury that was sustained in October.

Bowling Green redshirt sophomore WR Chris Gallon will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

Gallon sustained the injury on October 12 against Mississippi State, catching 24 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns. The redshirt sophomore created some buzz this offseason since he was draft-eligible, but those plans will be delayed until next season.

Draft insider Tony Pauline has given Bowling Green redshirt sophomore WR Chris Gallon a third-round preseason tag.

"Large, dependable receiver with a solid game," Pauline writes of Gallon. "Lacks the speed to stretch the field but does the little things well and the "go-to" receiver opponents cannot stop. Will be the wide-out that breaks the mold of ultra-productive BGSU wide outs who fail in the NFL." Khalil Mack will draw MAC headlines, but be on the lookout for Gallon.

Draft insider Tony Pauline believes Bowling Green redshirt sophomore WR Chris Gallon is a "big time talent."

Pauline notes that "speed may be the issue," but Gallon is big and fluid. Listed at 6'4/221 pounds, Gallon could remind some of Michael Jenkins. He would be wise to work on his downfield blocking and could be forced to consistently win at the catch point if separation is an issue.
