UCF redshirt senior OT Torrian Wilson will play in Saturday's Medal of Honor Bowl.
The 6-feet-4, 308-pound Wilson started all 13 games at left tackle after a brief spring experiment at guard. It might have been better for Wilson to try out guard, as he probably projects better to that position in the pros. Wilson earned a spot on Phil Steele's Postseason All-Conference Second Team. UCF redshirt senior LT Torrian Wilson is moving inside to OG for his senior season, according to CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.

"Good to see UCF OL Torrian Wilson is moving inside to OG as a senior. Was going to happen eventually, struggling at LT on 2013 tape," Brugler tweeted. Some evaluators think the 6-feet-4, 308-pound Wilson projects more as a guard at the next level. Moving inside will give the UCF prospect a year under his belt at the position, while opening up an opportunity in the starting lineup for the Knights’ talented redshirt sophomore tackle Michael Campbell.

UCF redshirt junior LT Torrian Wilson will return to the field against South Carolina on September 28.

Wilson was held out against Penn State after injuring his knee in practice and underwent an arthroscopic procedure because of it. Quarterback Blake Bortles should only receive more time in the pocket with Wilson's return. The redshirt junior earned positive buzz this offseason from opposing touches and is a name to keep in mind during draft season.

Opposing coaches who spoke with CBS Sports' Jeremy Fowler have been impressed with UCF redshirt junior T Torrian Wilson.

Wilson started 14 games in 2012 and was voted to the All-C-USA second team. "He is a tough, old-school type player," One coach said. "Doesn't say a lot and plays through pain. Can get movement in run game and protect." We doubt Wilson enters the 2014 NFL Draft, but he is a name to keep in mind when watching the Golden Knights this season.
