Rutgers senior FS Jeremy Deering, who recently moved from WR, continues to draw praise at his new position.

Draft insider Tony Pauline noted Deering's transition to safety has been an easy one back in July. "It’s a big transition but I don’t think he see sees it that way," head coach Kyle Flood said. "We don’t look at it that way anymore. We look at him as a player who had an entire spring to play safety and an entire summer to work on his skill set." Deering also has a history at running back.

Rutgers senior S Jeremy Deering's move from WR has been an easy one, per draft insider Tony Pauline.

Scouts have reportedly already come away impressed. Despite drawing little national attention during the season, former Rutgers safety Duron Harmon was selected in the third-round last April. Don't rule out Deering making a similar impact despite his lack of experience at the position.
