At least 22 teams were represented at former Stony Brook T Michael Bamiro's workout on Thursday, according to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo.
Bamiro was recently ruled ineligible for the 2013 college football season and bypassed both the NFL Draft in April and today's Supplemental Draft. There has been some buzz about the large tackle carrying a third day grade by some evaluators, so expect to see Bamiro get a camp look and potentially make a roster. Thu, Jul 11, 2013 02:31:00 PM

NFL.com's Gil Brandt considered former Stony Brook T Michael Bamiro a fourth-round talent.

Bamiro was recently deemed ineligible for the 2013 season and therefore bypassed April's NFL Draft and this Thursday's Supplemental Draft. The offensive lineman has a basketball frame and is still raw in his technique and anchor on first contact, but teams will like his perceived upside. He could be valued higher than the six eligible Supplemental Draft hopefuls.

Stony Brook senior T Michael Bamiro was not allowed to enter the Supplemental Draft after being ruled ineligible for his final collegiate season.

This makes Bamiro a free agent and able to sign with any team. He will reportedly hold a workout for NFL evaluators on July 11. Bamiro's eligibility started at Pittsburgh despite not playing football. He then redshirted his first year at Stony Brook after choosing to pick up the sport. Bamiro did petition for an extra year, but that was obviously denied. He was a three year starter at right tackle and could have a better career than the six prospects eligible for the Supplemental Draft.
