Syracuse CB Keon Lyn (knee) will have a late April workout for scouts, reports draft insider Tony Pauline.
Lyn's senior season was cut short due to microfracture surgery on his knee. Pauline estimates that he was "about 80 percent" at Wednesday's pro day event on campus and chose not to work out. Lyn has upcoming visits scheduled with the Dolphins, Lions and Raiders. The corner recorded 75 tackles and three interceptions over 38 career games with the Orange. Mar 30 - 8:35 PM

Syracuse senior CB Keon Lyn (lower-body injury) will miss the remainder of the season.

Lyn's career is now over, as he's played in over 30-percent of Syracuse's games this season. "Keon's got a lower-body injury that is going to require some surgery," Syracuse head coach Scott Shafer cryptically said. Lyn recorded 75 tackles and three interceptions over 38 career games. Draft insider Tony Pauline wrote in July that he considered Lyn a fourth-round talent, while "the scouting community" perceived Lyn as a late-rounder or UDFA. Due in no small part to this injury, we expect the scouting community's opinion to be realized.

Syracuse senior CB Keon Lyn is considered a late round or UDFA in the scouting community, according to draft insider Tony Pauline.

Pauline considers Lyn a fourth-round talent, so the disparity is quite large. We haven't had a chance to check out Lyn yet, but he has recorded 10 pass breakups and three interceptions during his career, one going for a touchdown.
