Sophomore CB Najee Murray is no longer a part of the Ohio State football program.

Many reports stated Murray was dismissed from the program a few weeks ago, but head coach Urban Meyer announced the corner was only suspended. Now it appears Murray has decided to leave the team, with Meyer granting him a release from scholarship. His previous suspension was for a "training camp issue." Murray played in six games last year before suffering a torn ACL.

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer announced sophomore CB Najee Murray has been suspended for a "training camp issue."

Many reports stated Murray had been dismissed from the team, but if Meyer is being truthful that is not the case. Murray played in six games as a freshman, mainly on special teams, before injuring his knee which sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
