LSU redshirt junior WR Travin Dural will miss the next 3-4 months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn right hamstring.
Obviously this puts Dural out for the remainder of the season. The LSU receiver has flashed in the last two seasons, and many would presume that Dural would have much better success in a different offense with a different quarterback. This season, Dural caught 28 passes for 533 yards and three touchdowns. It seems likely that Dural is headed to the NFL. Nov 25 - 7:58 AM

LSU redshirt junior WR Travin Dural has a marquee matchup Saturday against stud Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves III.

You may not realize it because LSU's quarterback play has been so bad the past few seasons, but Dural's average of 19.5 yards per catch since 2013 ranks No. 8 in the FBS (minimum 50 catches). "If Florida's No. 12 rush defense is able to bottle up LSU RB Leonard Fournette, the Tigers will need Dural and QB Brandon Harris to team up for some big plays to beat the Gators," wrote ESPN's Todd McShay.

LSU redshirt junior WR Travin Dural posted four catches for 109 yards and a score in Saturday's 45-24 victory over South Carolina.

The 6-foot-2, 192-pound Dural is one of the country's best receiving talents, but he's rarely discussed because Brandon Harris hasn't developed quickly and HC Les Miles doesn't let Harris take chances. Harris, however, had the game of his life today, allowing both Dural and Malachi Dupre to go off. We can't recommend Dural in DFS until Harris proves this wasn't a fluke.

LSU HC Les Miles indicated that the team might adjust its receiver rotation.

LSU receivers logged at least three drops in Saturday's win over Eastern Michigan. The Mad Hatter clearly isn't cool with that, noting that the "effort isn't matching the talent." Redshirt junior WR Travin Dural and freshman WR Malachi Dupree are currently embedded as starters, but this could change. "Yeah, we're looking at shuffling the lineup. We're looking at all those things," said Miles. He did add that he's "not ready to [make changes] at this point in any wholesale fashion," though, so it's possible that Dural and Dupree will have another week to prove that their butterfingers are less buttery.

LSU redshirt junior WR Travin Dural helped rescue a woman from an overturned SUV in July.

Between devastating injuries and player suspensions, college football sees its fair share of dark clouds every season, so it's nice to shine a light on a happy story every now and then. In late July, LSU junior wideout Travin Dural passed an overturned SUV. He proceeded to muscle the door open. Said his cousin, "[Dural] used his strength." The woman behind the wheel was then able to exit the vehicle unharmed. Yes, beautiful. On the football side of things, the 6-foot-2, 192-pound junior led the Tigers with 37 receptions for 758 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

LSU redshirt junior WR Travin Dural was named to the 2015 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, given to college football's most outstanding receiver.

The 6-foot-2, 192-pound Dural was LSU's leading receiver, recording 37 receptions for 758 yards and seven touchdowns in 2014. The Tiger's deep-threat weapon is one the team's fastest players, and is able to run a sub-4.4 40-yard dash.

Sports on Earth's Matt Brown believes LSU has one of "the best groups of young receivers in the country."

The analyst sees redshirt junior WR Travin Dural as a top-25 wide receiver in the country and Dural is flanked by stud sophomores Malachi Dupre, Trey Quinn and John Diarse. "They just didn't get to do a whole lot [last year], with LSU completing only 138 passes (120th nationally) all season," Brown wrote. "The 6-foot-2, 192-pound Dural is a good fit for what the offense wants to do with a mix of power running and downfield passing." Indeed, despite a terrible passing game last year, Dural had 37 catches for 758 yards (20.5 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns. "Much of that production came in the first half of the season, though, as he struggled down the stretch in SEC play. He's going to need some help from his quarterbacks," Brown wrote.

LSU WR coach Adam Henry has accepted a job with the 49ers.

Henry joined LSU in the spring of 2012, which means he helped develop Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, and both made immediate impacts during their rookie seasons. LSU still has some nice talent at receiver, with Travin Dural and Malachi Dupre.

LSU redshirt sophomore WR Travin Dural will return for the 2015 season.

Dural is easily LSU's top receiver, both statistically and talent wise. He recorded 37 catches for 758 yards and seven touchdowns this season, basically doubling the school's second leading receiver. Even Dural started hot and fizzled as the season went along. LSU is very much a ground focused offense and will face Notre Dame in their bowl game.

LSU redshirt sophomore WR Travin Dural will play against Louisiana-Monroe despite suffering injuries in a car accident last weekend.

"He will be fine," head coach Les Miles said Wednesday. "He practiced today with a helmet. He will play in this game." Dural suffered a "soft tissue injury" to his forehead which required stitches. He has recorded six catches for 291 yards and two touchdowns thus far this season.

The Baton Rouge Advertiser reports that LSU sophomore WR Travin Dural was injured in a car accident late Saturday night.

The 6-foot-2, 192 pound wideout, only suffered minor injuries, as he bumped his head when the car he was in was hit from behind. Dural received stitches to his forehead and was held out of practice on Monday and Tuesday. LSU's deep threat receiver is off to a monster start to his season, with 291 receiving yards on six catches. Dural currently leads the nation with 48.5 yards per catch and is second in the nation with four touchdowns.

CBS Sports' Bruce Feldman tweeted redshirt freshman WR Travin Dural is generating positive buzz.

The receiver is coming off a knee injury which he sustained during pre-season workouts. Dural, a track athlete, obviously has vertical speed, which could be utilized by big armed quarterback Zach Mettenberger. There's a chance he could start over Odell Beckham, however, he'll have to prove his run blocking on the edge.
