Kansas State junior QB Jake Waters compares to ex-Gamecocks QB Connor Shaw, according to CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.
"Similar to Connor Shaw a year ago, Waters' skill-set doesn't scream NFL quarterback, but with a productive and winning senior season, he will earn a shot to make a pro roster," Brugler wrote. Like Shaw, Waters lacks ideal height and size for the next level. The Kansas State prospect is a versatile athlete and a tough competitor who can come up big in clutch moments. Waters enters the 2014 season with the top career passing efficiency rating (156.8)in school history and ranks fifth in passing yards per game (189.9). Jun 4 - 10:48 AM
