Texas State DT David "D.J." Yendrey ran a 4.85 second forty against the wind and 4.79 with the wind at Texas State’s pro day Wednesday.
The undersized 6-foot-2 3/4, 274-pounder was not at the combine, so this was his first chance to impress scouts. Eighteen teams showed as Yendrey logged a 33-inch vertical, a 9-4 broad jump, a 4.44 second short shuttle, a 7.14 second three-cone and 29 reps on the bench. Yendrey transferred over from TCU after a drug bust that involved multiple members of the Horned Frogs football program. Mar 29 - 3:47 PM

One NFL scout told CBS Sports' Dane Brugler to keep an eye on Texas State senior DT D.J. Yendrey.

Specifically, the scout said to file the name in your brain. Yendrey is a former TCU prospect but was a part of the drug bust that involved multiple members of the Horned Frogs football program. He is a bit thin for an interior spot, but keep Yendrey in mind throughout the draft season.
