Arkansas senior DT Robert Thomas will miss the remainder of the season with a broken bone in his left leg.
Head coach Bret Bielema said the recovery process should take three to four months, which puts Thomas' draft process in question. The senior had generated a lot of attention by NFL scouts, according to Bielema. He registered six for losses, 3.5 of which were sacks. Mon, Oct 14, 2013 02:42:00 PM

NFL scouts are "really, really high" on Arkansas senior DT Robert Thomas, according to head coach Bret Bielema.

"(Thomas is) benefiting from getting under a new position coach. Charlie Partridge is a detail guy," Bielema said. "Robert is using his hands. He's engaging his second step as a defensive tackle, and that's a really, really big deal in defensive line play. He's making big plays because of it." We think he is also benefiting from underrated defensive ends Chris Smith and junior Trey Flowers.
