Four-star 2015 RB recruit Jordan Stevenson, who was denied admission to Wisconsin, will play for Nebraska.
Stevenson will join Nebraska this season, as he is a member of the 2015 class. Up to 13 teams were in on Stevenson after his commitment with Wisconsin fell through. Both schools lost running backs to the NFL and are looking to replace the workhorses with younger players. Stevenson might not factor into the Husker's crowded backfield this season. Stevenson initially committed to Texas back in 2013, but switched to Wisconsin in 2014. He is now free to sign with any FBS program, and CFT passes along a 247 Sports report that 13 programs are interested in adding the running back, including Alabama and Florida.

Running back Jordan Stevenson, a member of the ESPN Junior 300, committed to Texas one day after the Longhorns defeated No. 12 Oklahoma 36-20 on Saturday.

"It was a shock treatment for me," Stevenson said. "They came to ball. They finally stepped up to their potential. It was good seeing some of my hometown buddies like Mike Davis, and they did their thing." The 'Horns now have nine commitments in their 2015 class. Stevenson, the No. 182 ranked high school junior, selected Texas over offers from Arkansas, SMU and Utah State; he also garnered interest from Oregon, Notre Dame and Ohio State. "I've been hearing a lot of rumors [regarding Mack Brown's job status]," Stevenson said, "but I'm not letting them get in my head. The way they came out with a great victory yesterday and that team came together and stepped up at the Cotton Bowl, they showed up and showed out."
