UCLA head coach Jim Mora Jr. is hopeful sophomore LT Simon Goines will play against Oregon.

Goines is the team's starting left tackle. He went down against Stanford, as did his backup Conor McDermott. The young blocker started 13 games as a true freshman at right tackle. Oregon's defense gets all the national attention, but they have some very talented and young players on defense.
