Minnesota sophomore C Jon Christenson will miss the remainder of the season due to a broken leg he suffered in Saturday's win over Indiana.

Christenson underwent surgery on Sunday. "You just feel terrible," said Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill. "The game of football is a great game. But it's a hard game. He's a beautiful kid and smart. So it's a shame." Kill said that junior Tommy Olson will start in place of Christenson against Penn State on Saturday.
