TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline reports that UCF junior WR Breshad Perriman will enter the draft.
CBS Sports' Dane Brugler wrote last week that Perriman "is a[n] NFL prospect who will get more and more ink if he declares early." Well, start up the presses. Pauline graded Perriman as a preseason Round 5 prospect, though he's probably inched up boards a little. Perriman drops balls that he shouldn't, and his technique doesn't inspire, but he's a legit deep threat who forces safeties back. The 6-foot-2, 209-pounder has caught a touchdown in seven straight contests, and nine of 10. You probably recall his Hail Mary reception to beat East Carolina last week. Perriman collected 41 receptions on the season for 906 yards (a 22.1 YPR average) and nine scores. "Perriman has flashed big time ability the past two seasons as well as an equal amount of inconsistency in his game," Pauline wrote. Dec 13 - 9:34 PM

UCF junior WR Breshad Perriman hauled in a miracle 51-yard Hail Mary as time expired to beat East Carolina 32-30 on Thursday.

East Carolina's defensive backs bizarrely didn't defend the goal line, and all mistimed their jumps, allowing the moonshot of a pass from Justin Holman to find Perriman's hands as if a routine play had been called. Perriman finished with four receptions for 139 yards and the miracle score. The 6-foot-2, 209-pounder finished the regular season having caught a touchdown in seven straight contests, and nine of 10. The Golden Knights head into bowl season 9-3, including 7-1 in the American, winning a share of the conference for the second straight year.
Dec 4 - 11:44 PM

UCF junior WR Breshad Perriman caught six balls for 55 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's win against South Florida.

The 6-foot-2, 209-pounder was Blake Bortles' favorite deep-ball receiver and ranked near the NCAA leaders with a 20.8 yards per catch average last year. So what has he lost with Justin Holman behind center? Eerily, nothing. Perriman finished with 38 catches and 811 receiving yards in 2013, and has 37 catches for 767 yards and eight touchdowns this season (20.7 YPC). TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline graded Perriman as a preseason Round 5 prospect.

UCF junior WR Breshad Perriman caught seven balls for 146 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's win against Temple.

Perriman's big day helped pushed the Golden Knights to 5-2. UCF was forced to take a big downgrade in QB play when Blake Bortles bolted for the NFL, but Justin Holman has one of the nation's most underrated receiving corps to work with. TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline graded the 6-foot-2, 209-pound Perriman as a preseason Round 5 prospect.
Oct 26 - 8:32 PM

UCF junior WR Breshad Perriman caught six balls for 83 yards in Thursday's 31-24 overtime victory over BYU.

Perriman's previous season-high in catches was only three, which speaks more to his acclimation from Blake Bortles to Justin Holman than anything. The 6-foot-2, 209-pounder was Bortles' favorite deep-ball receiver and ranked near the NCAA leaders with a 20.8 yards per catch average last year. TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline graded Perriman as a preseason Round 5 prospect.

TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline wants to see how UCF redshirt junior WR Breshad Perriman performs without Blake Bortles before making a final assessment on him.

"Perriman is the team’s top prospect and while some rate the junior as a middle round choice, I want to see how he responds with Blake Bortles no longer throwing him the ball," Pauline wrote. The 6-foot-2, 209-pounder was Bortles' favorite deep-ball receiver and ranked near the top of the leader boards with a 20.8 yards per catch average (38 catches for 811 receiving yards) last year. Pauline grades Perriman as a preseason Round 5 prospect.
Aug 6 - 6:09 PM

UCF junior WR Breshad Perriman "uses his size and athleticism well," according to CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.

The 6-foot-2, 209-pound Perriman was Blake Bortles' favorite deep-ball receiver in 2013 and ranked near the top of the leader boards with a 20.8 yards per catch average. "He needs to be more reliable as a hands-catcher and eliminate the drops, but he uses his size and athleticism well," Brugler wrote. Perriman finished with 38 catches and 811 receiving yards in 2013, numbers he'll top if he can be more consistent this fall.

UCF sophomore WR Breshad Perriman (concussion) is expected to be available for Saturday's game against Temple.

Perriman, who leads the team with 567 receiving yards, was hit high going across the middle on Saturday night against Houston and left the field on a stretcher. "I would assume he'd be back this weekend," Knights head coach George O'Leary said. "Anytime you have a neck [or] head injury, it's precautionary and they did what they had to get done to make sure it was nothing serious with him. ... He was on the field today and hopefully he'll be ready to go this week."
