Alabama junior TE Brian Vogler and freshman WR ArDarius Stewart are both listed as "very questionable" for Saturday's Iron Bowl.
Each player suffered a strained knee ligament on Saturday against Chattanooga. To this point in the week, neither has practiced, so it appears doubtful that either will take the field against Auburn, a sentiment HC Nick Saban has echoed. Expect O.J. Howard, a superior receiver, to start at tight end. Thu, Nov 27, 2014 04:05:00 PM

Alabama junior TE Brian Vogler (knee) is listed as "questionable" for Saturday's Iron Bowl.

Tide coach Nick Saban also said freshman WR ArDarius Stewart (strained knee ligament) is questionable for the Auburn game. Vogler also is nursing a strained knee ligament. "We’ll see how they progress throughout the week, but they would be listed as questionable for the game right now, not that everyone will practice today," Saban said Monday. "As the week progresses, we’re hopeful that everybody will respond and be able to get back and contribute in the game." Vogler and O.J. Howard have split TE duties this season. Howard will start versus the Tigers if Vogler can't go.

Alabama junior TE Brian Vogler (ankle) is listed as "day-to-day."

"We don't really know what day this week he'll be back into it," Alabama coach Nick Saban said Monday. Vogler didn't practice on Monday and an Alabama source told CBS Sports' Jeremy Fowler that he isn't likely to play on Saturday against Chattanooga. Vogler, who functions almost exclusively as a blocker in the Crimson Tide's offense, has just eight catches for 71 yards in 2013.
