Broncos selected Michigan OT Michael Schofield with the No. 95 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Schofield (6-foot-6 1/2, 301) made 36 starts for the Wolverines, playing left guard as a sophomore before bookending LT Taylor Lewan at right tackle as a junior and senior. He ran an impressive 5.01 forty at the Combine, but underwhelmed in the broad (7'9") and vertical (24") jumps. While Schofield is a right tackle only, his 34-inch arms will help him compensate for athletic limitations in pass protection, and he was an outstanding drive blocker in the Big Ten. Schofield will compete for the starting right-tackle job in Denver this summer. May 9 - 11:07 PM

The Dolphins have "told people they like" Michigan OT Michael Schofield.

Fellow tackle Taylor Lewan stole all the pub, but Michigan's right-side protector is an impressive prospect in his own right who shouldn't be forgotten. ESPN's Mel Kiper called Schofield underrated: "I think maybe round three, round four. Michael Schofield can be a starting right tackle in this league." Miami also reportedly likes Lewan.

Michigan senior OT Michael Schofield accepted an invitation to play in the 2014 East-West Shrine Game.

Across the line, fellow tackle Taylor Lewan gets all the pub, but Michigan's right-side protector will be drafted as well. Schofield has solid agility and bend for a tackle standing 6-foot-7. His feet are even good enough that he could handle the left side at the next level in a pinch. Schofield was selected All-Big Ten Honorable Mention this season.
