Steelers selected UCLA OLB Jordan Zumwalt with the No. 192 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Zumwalt (6-foot-4, 235) made 30 starts for the Bruins, tallying 22.5 tackles for loss with five sacks, three picks and five forced fumbles. He showed flexibility in Jim Mora's 3-4, spending time at both inside and outside 'backer. Zumwalt ran 4.76 at the Combine with a 33-inch vertical and 9-foot-8 broad jump. An aggressive, highly competitive player without elite athletic traits, Zumwalt fits best in the NFL as a strong-side defender. He'll first try to crack the 53-man roster as a special teamer. The Seahawks will meet with UCLA LB Jordan Zumwalt on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Zumwalt is big -- with a frame to get bigger -- and can generate momentum in a straight line. Nobody will question his motor or desire, but they will question his range and agility. Zumwalt will have to add strength, clean up his technique, and play under control more often, but you're hearing more about him because NFL staffs are obviously seeing clay to mold. CBS Sports projects him to go between Rds. 3-4.

Atlanta Falcons have worked out UCLA LB Jordan Zumwalt and WR Shaq Evans.

Zumwalt had the opportunity to play under Atlanta Falcons' Head Coach Mike Smith at the Senior Bowl. The 6-foot-4, 230 pound Zumwalt got a chance to impress the Falcons coaching staff while they coached the North team. The 6-foot-1, 213 pound Shaq Evans led the Bruins in receiving the past two seasons and earned All-Pac 12 Honorable Mention honors the past two years.

The NFL has roster space for players like UCLA LB Jordan Zumwalt, says college coach Jim Mora.

Mora went on to praise Zumwalt's competitiveness. At the school's pro day exhibition for scouts (20 NFL teams showed), Zumwalt ran the forty in 4.74 and 4.79 seconds. He collected a 4.68-second short shuttle and a 7.26-second three-cone time.
