Oklahoma State redshirt senior WR Jhajuan Seales is one of Pro Football Focus' top breakout candidates this fall.
"Seales explodes into his routes, often sneaking up on cornerbacks and showing the ability to get behind them for big plays," Pro Football Focus' Steve Palazzolo wrote. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver, who didn't play much last year because of suspension, dropped four of his 22 catchable targets. Now that WR Marcell Ateman is out until at least October, Seales is in a prime position to inherit his usage. "Seales has an opportunity to shine and Rudolph is one of the nation’s best deep ball throwers – expect a few big plays to Seales," Palazzolo wrote. Aug 24 - 9:08 PM

Oklahoma State reinstated redshirt junior WR Jhajuan Seales from suspension.

Cowboys coach Mike Gundy was asked if Seales would play Saturday against TCU: "Yes. We suspended him last week. (He) made a terrible decision." Seales was arrested on Oct. 25 for driving under the influence and having an open container. The fourth-year junior has 12 receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown this season.

Almost exactly a year ago, Seales was arrested in another alcohol issue. We haven't been given many details about this specific incident. If he's proven guilty, Seales' standing with the team may be in jeopardy. We'll apprise when more is known.

Oklahoma State sophomore WR Jhajuan Seales and freshman CB Juwan Offray were arrested after falling asleep in a Whataburger drive-thru early Sunday morning.

The car was running with Seales' foot on the brake, but both men were asleep in the front seat. The two were accused of public intoxication. Seales has three touchdowns on the season, which is tied for the most on the team. No punishments have been handed down at this time.

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler believes Oklahoma State redshirt sophomore WR Jhajuan Seales is a worthy, but unpolished, NFL prospect.

"Seales has flashed the raw talent to be the next pro-caliber pass-catcher out of Stillwater," Brugler wrote. Seales will have to make huge steps forward in his game to join Justin Blackmon (2012), Dez Bryant (2010), Rashaun Woods (2004) as the next Cowboys' first-round receiver, but he's no slouch. "Seales accelerates well off the line of scrimmage and does a nice job selling his route, but is still unpolished in several areas and needs to improve the 'little things' at receiver to be viewed as a viable draft pick by NFL scouts," Brugler added. Seales collected 39 catches for 571 yards and three scores in 2013.
