Michigan senior TE Zach Gentry (undisclosed) was taken to the locker room in the third quarter of Saturday's game against Ohio State.

Gentry was hit hard by a pair of OSU defenders while attempting to haul in a pass and required assistance leaving the field. According to the Michigan radio broadcast, the senior tight end "looked completely dazed" after the play in question. This would lead us to believe he's being evaluated for a concussion, but we will update as information becomes available. Consider him doubtful to return to action against the Buckeyes.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline listed Michigan senior TE Zach Gentry as a "riser" after his performance against Maryland on Saturday.

Gentry had a mammoth game in the 42-21 victory over the Terrapins, hauling in seven passes for 112 yards. Pauline has been waiting for the 6-foot-8, 262-pound tight end to have a breakout game, and that certainly qualifies as one. "The massive tight end also dominated his blocking assignments," he writes. "Though he has a thin body of work, Gentry presently grades within the top five at the tight end position."

Gentry (6'8/262) coming through with his best overall performance of the season, here. This was his first game with more than four catches, and also his first with more than 100 yards receiving. He's put up a 20-306-1 receiving line in six games this year.

Michigan senior TE Zach Gentry received a great 85.0 grade by Pro Football Focus for his performance against Nebraska.

Gentry (6'8/262) caught three passes for 32 yards and a touchdown. His lone touchdown came in the second quarter when he caught a five-yard pass from QB Shea Patterson. The large tight end was actually a QB recruit but made the positional change a few years ago and it looks to be working late into his career. Last week Gentry posted a 4-95 line and then followed it up with a score.
